Sewers/Tailors Job Description:
- Assemble and sew abayas and other garments following Al Abat's quality standards.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines, ensuring accurate stitching and finishing.
- Transfer markings from patterns to fabric as required for precision.
- Perform detailing work, such as adding embellishments, trims, or embroidery.
- Execute tasks such as pressing seams (e.g., inside pressed open), finishing sleeve bottoms, hemming, and preparing garments for closures like snaps.
- Conduct garment cleaning, remove chalk marks and excess threads to ensure a polished finish.
- Collaborate with the team to complete production orders within the deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean production workspace.
